Dicht, guddle, clipe, dreich, stramash, just a few of the hundreds of beautifully descriptive words in the Scots language and just sound so much better than their English equivalent,
I've always liked walking and since the start of 2017 I have been been stravaiging around Edinburgh with no real purpose in mind except to enjoy it and discover or rediscover the beauty of this city. Edinburgh is such a great place to walk around with such a variety of surroundings. My walks have taken me to Arthur's Seat, Portobello, Leith, Cramond, Balerno and many other parts of the city. It's a great way to keep fit and averaging around 60 and 70 thousand steps each week I've covered nearly 300km since January 2nd.
I have taken to documenting my stravaigs using a Panasonic Lumix TZ70, an excellent compact camera with an astonishing zoom range and a host of features and settings that aren't normally found on a small "have on you at all times" camera.
